Fighting for Texas Families

A Video Campaign That Put Children's Healthcare First

The Problem

The Texas legislature was weeks away from the largest Medicaid upheaval in state history. Despite 60-plus years of proven care, three Texas-based children's hospital plans lost their contract renewals to out-of-state, for-profit insurers.

The human cost? Nearly 2,000 local jobs and 1.8 million children and pregnant women forced off their trusted healthcare plans. Traditional lobbying wasn't enough.

The Strategy

We let the people tell their own stories. Our campaign centered on authentic, persuasive storytelling from families, healthcare workers, and communities directly impacted by this decision.

We created powerful video testimonies, strategic news releases, targeted lobbying ads, and social media campaigns—all designed to move legislators from awareness to action.

The Results

Our storytelling strategy delivered:

  • Changed minds among key decision-makers

  • Raised statewide awareness about real consequences

  • Won a Worthy Award for excellence in advocacy communications

  • Mobilized communities to fight for their families' healthcare access

When authentic narratives meet strategic delivery, hearts and minds follow.

Sometimes the most important campaigns aren't about selling products—they're about protecting people.
